NASAAG: 5 Years of Empowering, Acknowledging, and Celebrating Students’ Contribution to Community Development

On Saturday, 16th November 2024, the National Academy of Students Achievement Awards Ghana (NASAAG) hosted its 5th Annual Edition at the Mamphey Conference Hall, GIMPA, recognizing 32 exceptional students and four organizations for their outstanding contributions to education, innovation, and community development.

Under the theme, “NASAAG: 5 Years of Empowering, Acknowledging, and Celebrating Students’ Contribution to Community Development,” the event highlighted the achievements of young changemakers from universities across Ghana.

Scholarship and Startup Capital Recipients

Two remarkable individuals stood out with significant financial support to further their endeavors:

  • Natalie Agyenim, winner of the 2024 National Best Student Intern, received a One-Year Academic Scholarship for her exemplary contributions during her internship.
  • Foli Elisha Kofi, a physically challenged student of the Ghana Communication Technology University and winner of the NASAAG Students Start-Up Empowerment and Business Pitch, was awarded a GH₵10,000 start-up support fund to propel his entrepreneurial ambitions.

These awards underscore NASAAG’s commitment to fostering educational and entrepreneurial opportunities for students across the country.

Honoring Excellence

This year’s awards also celebrated four individuals and organizations with Honorary Awards for their immeasurable contributions to student and education development in Ghana, cementing NASAAG’s legacy of acknowledging outstanding impacts in the academic community.
