Africans Are Spiritual but Lack Strategy, Says Apostle Michael Dadzie

Apostle Michael Dadzie shared a thought-provoking message that every African needs to hear in a recent powerful sermon. The central theme of his sermon was this: while Africans are deeply spiritual, many lack the necessary strategy to succeed in life. This lack of strategy, he argues, keeps most Africans from reaching their full potential, while a small strategic elite controls the majority.

Drawing inspiration from both spiritual and practical perspectives, Apostle Dadzie used the example of God Himself to highlight the importance of strategy. When God created Adam, He didn’t intend to create man over and over again. Instead, He established a system—creating both males and females with the ability to procreate—thus easing the work of creation. In this, Apostle Dadzie emphasizes the significance of systems and strategies in our lives, even noting that God used strategy to make His work more efficient.

The 3% Control the 97% Because They Use Strategy

One of the key takeaways from this sermon is that only 3% of the population controls the remaining 97% because they are strategic. Apostle Dadzie made an interesting analogy: a taxi driver, without a strategic plan, roams the streets in search of passengers, wasting fuel and energy. In contrast, a driver working for a ride-hailing app like Bolt waits strategically for ride requests, conserving resources and energy. This simple difference in approach illustrates how a lack of strategy prolongs unnecessary suffering.

What Is Our System?

Apostle Dadzie’s message was aimed at individuals and the African continent as a whole. He posed a critical question: What is our system as Africans? While we are rich in spirituality, we lack the systems and strategies needed for progress. As he puts it, Donald Trump once commented that Africans are unable to plan their lives 100 years into the future, and, according to Apostle Dadzie, this statement is true to some extent.

Without strategy, businesses cannot scale, and nations cannot develop. He urges Africans to look inward and ask themselves what system they have in place to guide their lives, businesses, and governments toward success.

A Call for Transformation

This sermon is a wake-up call to every African. It challenges us to rethink our approach to life, business, and development. Apostle Dadzie’s message is clear: Spirituality without strategy will only get us so far. It is time to adopt strategic systems that can help us make progress not just individually, but collectively as a continent.
