The National Chairman of Friends of Bawumia, Chairman Saddam, has passionately appealed to Ghanaians to consider the future of the younger generation by voting for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming presidential election. Speaking at a rally, he emphasized the critical need to sustain the policies and transformative initiatives championed by Dr. Bawumia and the current government.

Chairman Saddam highlighted flagship programs like the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy, which has enabled thousands of Ghanaian children to access secondary education irrespective of their financial backgrounds. He also lauded the government’s investment in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, which includes the construction of state-of-the-art STEM schools across the country. These institutions aim to equip Ghanaian students with the skills required to thrive in the digital age.

According to Chairman Saddam, Dr. Bawumia’s vision for a smart economy—anchored on digital transformation and financial inclusion—is the key to Ghana’s progress. He praised Bawumia’s role in initiatives such as the Mobile Money Interoperability System, which has improved financial accessibility for millions, and the digital property address system, designed to modernize Ghana’s infrastructure.

“Dr. Bawumia’s leadership has demonstrated a deep understanding of the modern global economy. His policies are forward-thinking and tailored to position Ghana as a competitive nation on the international stage,” Chairman Saddam said.

He called on Ghanaians to support Dr. Bawumia, who is number 1 on the ballot paper, emphasizing that continuity in leadership would ensure sustained development, particularly in education, healthcare, and economic reforms.

“Let us vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to protect the gains we have made and secure the future of our children. A vote for him is a vote for progress, innovation, and prosperity,” he urged.

Bawumia’s Policies and Achievements

Chairman Saddam further cited other policies implemented under Bawumia’s leadership, including:

  • Planting for Food and Jobs: A program designed to boost agriculture and ensure food security.
  • Digitization of Public Services: Transforming traditional government processes into efficient, tech-driven systems, such as the Ghana Card initiative.
  • One District, One Factory (1D1F): A policy aimed at industrializing Ghana’s economy and creating jobs at the grassroots level.
