In a significant legal development, the prosecution has dropped all charges against seven protesters from the #StopGalamseyNow movement: Kingsley, Seth, Vera, Nii Quaye, Manuel Biney, Joseph, and Ernest Frimpong. This decision is a relief to the activists, who were facing various charges related to their demonstrations against illegal mining practices.

The #StopGalamseyNow movement has garnered widespread attention for its advocacy for protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices. The protesters were arrested during a demonstration aimed at raising awareness about the detrimental effects of illegal mining on local communities and ecosystems.
