About the Fellowship
Organized by IAPS, the fellowship offers a flexible three-month program from September 1 to November 21, 2025, which can be completed remotely or in-person in Washington, D.C. However, all fellows are required to participate in a 12-day residential session in D.C. from September 1–12, 2025. This is a unique chance to engage with leading experts, network with professionals, and work on meaningful policy initiatives that will shape the future of AI.

What You’ll Gain
The fellowship is fully funded, with competitive stipends provided:
- Senior Fellows: $22,000 stipend
- Junior Fellows: $15,000 stipend
- Student Internships are also available
In addition to financial support, fellows will receive:

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the IAPS AI Policy Fellowship 2025, you must:

- No technical AI background is required
- Be eligible to legally work in the U.S. for the duration (for D.C.-based fellows)
