💰 Financial Coverage

JSU Presidential Scholarships are offered in three categories:

1. For Master’s Degree Candidates

✅ Type A: CNY 25,000

• Eligibility:
  • JSU students progressing from bachelor’s to master’s
  • Candidates recommended by “Belt and Road” partner universities
  • Graduates from Top 1000 global universities (as ranked by US News, QS, THE, ARWU)
  • Graduates from “First-Class Universities” or “First-Class Disciplines” in China

✅ Type B: CNY 20,000

• Eligibility:
  • All other admitted master’s students

2. For PhD Candidates

✅ Type A: Full Tuition + Accommodation (CNY 5,000) + Living Allowance (CNY 5,000)

• Eligibility:
  • JSU students continuing from master’s to PhD
  • “Belt and Road” university recommendations
  • Graduates from Top 1000 global universities
  • Graduates from China’s “First-Class Universities” or top 1% of ESI disciplines

✅ Type B: Full Tuition + Accommodation (CNY 5,000)

• Eligibility:
  • All other admitted doctoral students

3. For Undergraduate Programs (Taught in English)

• Coverage: CNY 10,000 (First Year Only)
• Eligible Programs:
  • Material Science and Engineering
  • Electronic Commerce
  • Corporate Finance

• Valid Passport Copy
• Degree Transcripts (with notarized English translations if applicable)
• Degree Certificates (with notarized English translations if applicable)
• English Proficiency Certificate (for non-native English speakers)
• HSK-4 Certificate (for Chinese-taught programs)
• Family Financial Statement
• Research Proposal (Master’s and PhD only)
• Two Recommendation Letters (Master’s and PhD only)

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Open to applicants from all nationalities
• Must hold an offer or be admitted to an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate program at Jiangsu University
