IGP Dr Dampare, Aps Eric Nyamekye, Mensa Otabil make 2024 100 Most Reputable Africans List

Reputation Poll International (RPI), a distinguished reputation management and public relations consultancy firm, has unveiled its highly anticipated 2024 edition of the “100 Most Reputable Africans.” This annual publication spotlights individuals who have not only excelled in their respective fields but have also established a formidable reputation.
Ghanaian luminaries, including the Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare, The Church of Pentecost Chairman, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, and ICGC General Overseer Dr Mensa Otabil, take center stage on the list. Accompanying them are notable figures such as Fred Swaniker, Roberta Annan, Dr Sangu Delle, Eric Yirenkyi Danquah, Hon Sophia Karen Edem Ackuaku, and HRM Drolor Bosso Adamtey.
The 2024 roster spans various sectors, encompassing politics, business, entertainment, and human rights advocacy. In the business category, luminaries like Nigeria’s Femi Otedola, Sudanese-British billionaire businessman Mo Ibrahim, and Zimbabwe’s Kenneth Sharpe are acknowledged. Other distinguished personalities on the list include Mahmood Mamdani, Chancellor at Kampala International University; Elizabeth Maruma Mrema, Tanzania’s biodiversity leader and Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP); and Liberia’s Former president Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
Beyond individual achievements, the “100 Most Reputable Africans” recognizes those making significant social impact and contributions to social entrepreneurship, transforming businesses in Africa while positively impacting lives without stirring controversy.
In the entertainment category, Beninese Singer & songwriter Angelique Kidjo and Zimbabwean-American Actress Danai Jekesai stand out as representatives of talent and excellence.
The comprehensive list reflects the resilience and tenacity of the African continent. It sheds light on the accomplishments of individuals dedicated to changing the world and enhancing the lives of others.
