From his early entrepreneurial ventures, selling newspapers and kerosene as a child, to co-founding Hapaweb Solutions and hapaSpace, Gideon’s entrepreneurial spirit has always been evident. At the University of Ghana, he and his friend Albert Opoku sold various products, laying the foundation for his future ventures. He later worked with the British Council before co-founding Hapaweb Solutions in 2015, followed by his leadership at hapaSpace, where he has championed the growth of startups and young entrepreneurs.

His dedication to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ghana led him to become the second Chairperson of the Ghana Hubs Network (GHN). He spearheaded the “25 Days of WOW” policy hackathons and contributed to developing Ghana’s proposed startup bill. Internationally, he orchestrated the German African Entrepreneurship Summit (GAES), bringing together over 170 hubs and startups to Accra, solidifying his reputation as a global leader.

A certified British Council trainer, Gideon has empowered over 1000 teachers and spearheaded Code4Girls, a project training senior high school girls in digital skills. Gideon is also known for his research-driven initiatives and mentorship of startups, offering invaluable insights to young entrepreneurs across Ghana and beyond.
